I completed my Master of Science in Counseling from the University of Houston- Clear Lake with a Spanish Bilingual Counselor certificate. I am currently a Licensed Professional Counselor- Supervisor and a junior high student support counselor. My passion for counseling began while working with students and their families throughout my nineteen years of being a bilingual teacher. I have always been interested in helping others find the path that was intended for them to reach their potential. I believe strong families are the foundation for healthy and happy individuals. I love working with individuals, groups and families using an eclectic approach while focusing on mindfulness-based cognitive and person-centered therapy.

My husband and I have been married for 36 years and we have three daughters and one granddaughter. I spend most of my time with family and friends. I also love nature and enjoy exercising, reading, hiking, and learning new things.
