RATES & INSURANCE
Our desire as a 501C3, nonprofit Christian counseling center is to meet the needs of those seeking our services regardless of their ability to pay. We recognize that some individuals have access to healthcare benefits while others do not. We also understand and respect your right to choose how you’d like to pay for your mental healthcare, which is why we are committed to providing you both options.
We accept all major mental health insurance plans including most Medicaid managed care plans, and Tri-care for our military families.
We accept all forms of payment (cash and credit), HSA and FSA cards, and offer a sliding scale option when our standard rates are cost prohibitive.
Counseling Connections provides individual, couples, family, and group counseling services, as well as skill-building and preventative education programs. As a ministry, we are dedicated to equipping the next generation of professionals by hosting graduate interns from local universities. We also provide supervision for upcoming professionals seeking licensure in the mental health field. Below is a list of our standard fee schedule per billable hour.

Mental Healthcare Benefits
We recognize the value of utilizing your mental healthcare benefits, which is why we allocate staffing resources to this effort. Most of our therapists are paneled to accept payment from insurance companies; however, the process for securing these positions is arduous as each individual benefit planvaries. If you don’t see your desired therapist on your insurance panel list, be sure to check on your out of network benefits. We appreciate your patience as we continue to navigate the managed care system to better meet your needs.
Based on recent changes in our laws, mental healthcare should now be part of every plan, but each plan varies. As you seek to utilize your mental healthcare benefits, we encourage you to explore your options by asking some important questions:
What is my deductible and has it been met?
What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
Is approval required from my primary care physician prior to my first appointment?
Late Cancellation/No-Show Policy
All Late Cancellations/no-shows (those cancelled within less than 48 hours of the appointment) are billed at the rate of $35/hour, and must be paid prior to scheduling the next appointment. Recurring appointments will be removed from the schedule until payment is received.
Sliding Scale Rates
As a Christian, nonprofit organization, we strive to provide quality services at affordable rates for all of the individuals and families we serve. We also recognize that with the economic changes that have affected so many of the residents in our community, the standard rates may not be feasible. A limited number of sessions are available at a reduced rate if:
You are experiencing a serious financial hardship AND/OR you meet the financial qualifications.
You will not be filing any insurance claims for the services
