Cindy Dalmolin, LMFT, Board Chair
Manvel, Texas resident

Ms. Dalmolin is a founding member of Counseling Connections and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She is passionate about connecting people with mental health needs across our community. As a tenured instructor in Psychology and Sociology at Alvin Community College, Ms. Dalmolin is committed to engaging the up and coming students in this helping profession.

Shobi Raj, Board Secretary
Pearland, Texas resident

Shobi’s background includes working for a large health insurance conglomerate for over 10 years in various positions and has experience in product development, compliance, legal, customer service and as an educator/trainer for health care providers. Currently, she owns an independent agency, which brokers a network of over 7,000 attorneys to provide affordable access to legal services. Shobi is an avid networker and community volunteer. She holds a position as an Ambassador for the Pearland Chamber of Commerce.

Tim Pylate, Board Treasurer
Pearland, Texas resident

Tim has more than 25 years of experience in the nonprofit sector and has served in senior leadership positions in nonprofits all around the world, including the former Soviet Union, Lebanon, Afghanistan, and the United States. In addition, Tim spent several years teaching in the United States and in Ukraine as a Peace Corps Volunteer, where he became fluent in Russian. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Sam Houston State University and a Master of Education from the University of Texas, El Paso. Tim is currently serving as the Executive Director at Armand Bayou Nature Center, one of the largest urban wilderness preserves in the United States. He has been on the Counseling Connections board for four years.

Debbie Coffey, Board Director
Pearland, Texas resident

Ms. Coffey is a local realtor and advocate for improving access to affordable mental healthcare. In her former career, Ms. Coffey served as a Retirement Consultant cultivating relationships and educating her clients on best account options. She has an extensive background in marketing and business development and is gifted in the art of networking. Ms. Coffey is proud to serve on the Counseling Connections board and is determined to impact change in the mental health landscape of our community.

Jennifer Morton, Board Director
Pearland, Texas resident

Jennifer Morton is an Estate Planning and Probate Attorney in Pearland, Texas.  After receiving her law degree from the University of Houston Law Center in 2012, she began her legal career in Intellectual Property. She then switched focus to estate planning and opened The Law Office of Jennifer G. Morton, PLLC in 2019. Jennifer considers her career in estate planning and probate to be a service to those who are grieving the death of a loved one and to those who want to plan for those who will be left behind.

Jennifer also holds a master’s degree in Bioengineering from Rice University (2009) and a bachelor’s degree in Biological Engineering from Louisiana State University (2005). She is married to David and has two sons, Jakob (11) and Liam (8). She enjoys building community and camping with her family.

Pastor Charles Jones, Board Director
Missouri City, Texas resident

Pastor Charles E. Jones has over 20 years of corporate management experience. However, his greatest calling was in 1986 when God employed him to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He is a gifted communicator who loves serving at New Hope MBC and the Southern Brazoria County Communities. He is also a Chaplain for the Clute Police Department and a member of several community organizations.

Lorraine Ramirez Hehn’s background includes more than 10 years’ experience in local government.  Her contribution to this organization includes a strong sense of community and citizen outreach that she has either initiated or contributed to in Manvel.  Lorraine has strong, knowledgeable connections in our surrounding areas with a far reach for the cause of mental health.  She also has direct personal experience with mental health awareness and treatment and its effectiveness. Along with her community service spirit, Lorraine is a loving wife and mother and a strong voice for animal advocacy.

Marishia Simpson, Board Director
Pearland, Texas resident

Ms. Simpson is a diligent and results-oriented HR professional with 13+ years of experience effectively delivering value-added HR initiatives and managing strategic workforce needs for corporate, manufacturing, life sciences/blood banking, and service environments. Her skills in policy and procurement development, as well as extensive work in impacting multisite change, recruitment and retention and employee relations is expected to positively support the strategic plans for Counseling Connections. Ms. Simpson is passionate about sharing her gifts through volunteerism in her local community.

Ms. Webb is a service-oriented problem solver, who generously shares her interpersonal and organizational skills to promote mental health wellness. She holds a Master’s of Science degree in Educational Leadership, and has served as an Education Technology Specialist for Pearland ISD for over 15 years. Ms. Webb knows first-hand the positive impact mental health makes on children and youth, and knows the value of increasing access to those in need.

Julie Waguespack, Board Director
Pearland, Texas resident

Julie is a local small business owner and mental health advocate. She has over 20 years of experience in the mental health field as a psychotherapist and managing outpatient and day inpatient clinics. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Masters in Clinical Psychology. She retired early and has since started a non-profit. She dedicates her time to charity and volunteering through her service on the Pearland Parks and Recreation Board. Although she no longer works in the mental health field, she continues to enjoy helping others.
