Hello, my name is Kristin Baty, and I am a native Houstonian. After graduating from Texas A&M University with my BBA in Business Management and a minor in Psychology, I went into the corporate world before finding my way into Public Education as an Elementary school teacher. Here is where I realized that my passion and heart was in helping those around me.

I left Public Education to pursue my Masters in Social Work at Baylor University (anticipated graduation December 2024). This career transition is motivated by my deep commitment to walking alongside others as they navigate difficult and traumatic events through the creation of a safe and judgment-free zone.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my husband and our puppy, reading a good book, or snuggling up with a blanket to watch a movie.

I am beyond appreciative of the opportunity to serve individuals and families through Counseling Connections.
