“I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Houston-Clear Lake with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Literature and an English Language Arts Composite teaching certificate. I am currently completing a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Houston-Clear Lake. Using an integrated evidence-based therapy and person-centered counseling approach, I enjoy collaborating with individuals, groups, and families.

Throughout my 28-year teaching career, I witnessed numerous students and families struggling with mental health needs, which inspired my passion to help others and led me to pursue training as a counselor.

I am married and have two adult sons. When I am not seeking out the newest restaurant or musical venue, I enjoy reading, traveling, hiking, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family.”
